American Fork Presbyterian Church is a healthy, growing church with a nearly 150-year legacy in central Utah. As the culture has become more polarized, AFPC has become a refuge for believers across the political, cultural, and socioeconomic spectrum who want to unite around their shared faith in Christ and the Gospel. AFPC has a simple, neo-traditional approach to worship, including both classic hymns and contemporary songs. Our beautiful building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and became part of film history when it was used as a shooting location for the 1984 film Footloose. AFPC seeks a pastor with sound theology, a non-judgmental attitude, and particular skill in preaching and teaching. Our ideal candidate will be able to navigate the unique and rapidly-changing religious culture of Utah while creating a safe, non-confrontational environment for people from other faith traditions who are exploring the Gospel.
