General Profile of the Role:
The Director of Student Ministries will be responsible for ministries for all students from Middle School through High School while simultaneously equipping parents to be the primary faith influence in their students' lives. The successful candidate must have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and demonstrable leadership skills with a history of leading growing ministries. Candidates must also be able to plan and organize programs and curriculum, and be able to manage and delegate responsibilities within the student ministry team. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment with church staff, parents and other congregants. Presence is required on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, weekly staff meetings, Student Team meetings and special events/retreats. As a part of a dynamic and growing congregation, the candidate must also be able to demonstrate the ability to be adaptable in an ever-changing environment.
